Os primeiros números referentes às vendas do novo livro de J.K.Rowling, The Casual Vacancy, foram divulgados hoje e já se mostram impressionantes: 1 milhão de cópias já foram vendidas apenas na pré-venda.Philip Stone, analista de vendas do The Bookseller, já considera que o livro é “um dos maiores lançamentos do século XXI”. Harry Potter e as Relíquias da Morte vendeu 2,5 milhões de cópias apenas nas primeiras 24 horas de lançamento no Reino Unido, mas é muito improvável que The Casual Vacancy consiga chegar a tal número.
Não se sabe dizer ainda se o novo de Rowling será o livro mais vendido do ano. O posto atualmente pertence a Cinquenta Tons de Cinza, que já vendeu mais de 5 milhões de cópias.
The Casual Vacancy será lançado mundialmente no dia 27 de semtembro; a edição brasileira deverá ser publicada em dezembro. Via

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell

She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
